For as long as I’ve lived in NYC there has always been the classic bait/switch routine on St. Marks and 3rd Ave. A non-threatening dude hangs out on the block by Cooper Union and hands out “mean people suck” stickers. As soon as some sucker takes the sticker, he asks for a donation of $1 for the homeless. Now, you wouldn’t want to be mean would you? Mean people suck, right? You’d give a dollar, right? I gave the sticker back.

However, I think from here on out, I’m keeping the damn sticker, and I’m walking away. Mean people do suck, but people that make you feel guilty for no reason, let alone those who do it for a living, are annoying. Annoying people supremely suck.
