Tank Carter, brother of Pittsburg Steeler safety Tyrone Carter, is going to jail for 4.5 years (via profootballtalk) because he valued attending the Super Bowl, and partying with Snoop Dogg more than reporting for a 6 month jail sentence.

Undaunted, Carter told reporters, “Even knowing what I know now, I would do it again. It was the greatest game in my life.”

That is fortitude. Although, on the historical scale of fortitude, I rank his comments closer to William Hung than Chief Joseph.
