what games would god play?

I’m not talking about games like, toying with human emotions or starting world wars, but more along the lines of videogames. With a lot of videogames based on the premise of giving someone god-like powers over a specific realm (or over life as in oft-drooled over Spore), what would the incentive be for an all-powerful being to control what is already within grasp?
Google doesn’t seem to know, and I’m beginning to wonder if the very idea of “god games” become all at once unappealing to god-like beings. Even games of chance wouldn’t really be all that interesting… you would know the outcome each time. What fun is that?

Perhaps there is some kind of godly emotion that as a lowly-human is incomprehensible, much in the same way an ant probably can’t comprehend why I would enjoy flinging an electronic wand around the room while envisioning myself playing tennis.

It seems to me that games are strangely enough, what makes a human, and what defines where we are in the biological caste system.  For all of the ruckus about how the youth of today play too many videogames, and don’t get out and run around in the woods anymore, it almost makes sense that people use the abnormal amount grey matter provided.

So now it’s ok for me to vegetate and otherwise become a lump in front of the Wii right?
